Trade control on newly-listed Appendix III Turtles with effect from 14 June 2006
In accordance with the Notifications to the Parties No.2006/019, with effect from 14 June 2006, the import , export and re-export of the following species of turtles is subject to the provision of CITES and shall be supported with a CITES permit or certificate issued by a competent Authority.

Chelydridae
Macroclemys temminckii (Alligator Snapping Turtle)

Emydidae
Graptemys spp.* (Map Turtle)

*The Abbreviation "spp." is used to denote all species of a higher taxon.
