What do the dolphins eat?
- A minimum of 20 fish species in 13 families was identified from
their stomachs
- Most important families: Engraulidae, Sciaenidae, and Clupeidae
- Most common and numerically important prey species: lion-head
fish (Collichthys lucida), various croakers (Johnius
spp.), and anchovies (Thryssa spp.)
