Turbinaria peltata (Esper, 1794)

Family: Dendrophylliidae
Genera: Turbinaria

This is especially seen in colonies over 1 meter in size. Colours range from pink to purple.
Abundance: Common
Distribution : Widespread distribution, mostly recorded from the northeastern and eastern waters. Large colonies are observed in the Marine Parks in the northeastern part of Hong Kong waters.
