The sites and areas to be surveyed in Hong Kong Reef Check 2000
were extensive. The exercise covered the best coral growing sites
known in the eastern part of Hong Kong waters extending from Ping
Chau in the north to Ninepine Groups in the south. A total of 15
sites were successfully surveyed.
