The sites and areas covered this year in the Hong Kong 2001 Reef Check were extensive. The 3-month exercise starting from 23rd June covered the best coral growing sites known in the eastern part of Hong Kong waters extending from Ping Chau in the north to Ninepin Groups in the south. A total of 19 sites were successfully surveyed.
