Description: Largesnout Goby is pale greyish brown in general with yellowish belly. Predorsal area scattered with irregular dark dots and two dark lines running downward from eye to snout. Upper jaw is thick and protruding more anteriorly than lower jaw. Dorsal fins and caudal fins have dotted lines and first dorsal fin is triangular. There are 6 to 7 distinct blotches on mid lateral body.

Distribution in Hong Kong
  • Records from a few streams on Hong Kong Island and Lantau Island.
