Description: The Rice Fish is a small fish with a flattened and depressed head and a pair of large eyes. Its short dorsal and long anal fins are located at the posterior half of the body. The body is mainly pale yellow with a faint dusky horizontal stripe along the middle line.

Distribution in Hong Kong
