Introduction: It is conveniently situated near Tai Mong Tsai in Sai Kung West Country Park. This campsite is highly accessible and suitable for beginners. The campsite is surrounded by trees with various facilities, such as pavilion, barbecue pits, table and benches, etc. The area is quiet and one can relax without disturbances. Campers can also visit Pak Tam Chung and Sheung Yiu nearby.

Highlights:

Cheung Shan – Opposite to the campsite, there is a hiking trail to Cheung Shan. On the top of the hill, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Kau Sai Chau, Sharp Island, Yim Tin Tsai and Inner Port Shelter (Sai Kung Hoi).

How to get there: Method 1:
From Sai Kung Bus Terminal take Bus 94 or take Bus 96R at Diamond Hill MTR Bus Terminal on Sundays and statutory holidays to Wong Shek Pier and get off at Sai Kung Outdoor Training Camp Station. Follow the Tai Mong Tsai Road toward the monument for a 5 minute walk. Follow the road next to the monument for another short 5 minute walk.

Method 2:
From Sai Kung, take Minibus 9 to Lady MacLehose Holiday Village and descend at the monument. Follow the road next to the monument for a short 5 minute walk.
Remarks: The campsites are categorized into 3 size classes with reference to the number of potential tent space which is estimated based on the approximate size of a 4-person tent and the required cooking space and access pathway for campers. This is for reference only.
Campsite category: Small / Medium / Large
Small: for category with less than 20 tent spaces.
Medium: for category with 20 – 50 tent spaces.
Large: for category with more than 50 tent spaces.
