"Seasons • Excursions" Country Parks Photography Competition invites entries
Tuesday, April 15, 2014

The "Seasons • Excursions" Country Parks Photography Competition, organised by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), opened for entries today (April 15).

An AFCD spokesman said, "The country parks in Hong Kong have an abundance of picturesque vistas and interesting wildlife. The photography competition offers a good chance for members of the public to share their country park excursion experience through their photographs that capture the seasonal beauty and rich biodiversity in the parks. In this way, they can help drive home the message of nature conservation.

"Entries featuring the seasonal scenery or wild fauna and flora must be submitted during the specified periods. Outstanding entries chosen in the preliminary assessment will be uploaded to a Facebook Competition Page (www.facebook.com/pages/AFCD-Country-Park-Photo-Competition/619669838102716) for public voting. For each season, three awardees of the My Favourite Photo Award will be selected."
