The Government has released a public consultation document entitled "New Agricultural Policy: Sustainable Agricultural Development in Hong Kong", seeking public views on a new policy to adopt a more proactive approach towards the modernisation and sustainable development of local agriculture. The consultation exercise will end on March 31, 2015.

The Government will hold three public consultation sessions to listen to public views. Details of the consultation sessions are as follows:

Date:    February 9 (Monday)
Time:    4.30pm to 6.30pm
Venue: Cheung Wah Community Hall,
             Cheung Wah Estate, Fanling

Date:     February 25 (Wednesday)
Time:    5.30pm to 7.30pm
Venue:  Tung Chung Community Hall,
             G/F Tung Chung Municipal Services Building,
             39 Man Tung Road, Tung Chung

Date:     February 26 (Thursday)
Time:    4.30pm to 6.30pm
Venue:  Lecture Room, Yuen Long Theatre, 
             9 Tai Yuk Road, Yuen Long

All consultation sessions will be conducted in Cantonese. Simultaneous interpretation in English will be available for the session to be held in Tung Chung on February 25.
