Penalties

Any person contravening the requirements of Cap. 586 will be prosecuted and is liable on conviction to a maximum fine of five million Hong Kong dollars (HK$ 5,000,000) and to imprisonment for two years. The seized specimens will, without further order, also be forfeited to the government.
