Horseshoe Crabs in Hong Kong

Horseshoe crabs in Hong Kong

How many species of horseshoe crabs occur in Hong Kong?

It has been reported that all three Asian horseshoe crab species can be found in Hong Kong. However, only Tachypleus tridentatus and Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda have been identified in our surveys, though T. gigas was recorded in other literature.
