Where are the sampling stations?

A total of 120 sampling stations were covered in the territorial-wide Marine Benthic Study. A stratified sampling strategy was adopted to maximize the information collected from the study. The terrotrial waters of Hong Kong were divided into 5 strata, including Northeastern waters (i.e. Tolo Harbour, Sha Tau Kok Hoi, Kat O, Mirs Bay), Eastern waters (i.e. Tathong Channel, Port Shelter, Po Toi and Nine Pins), Western waters (i.e. Ursmston Road, Deep Bay and North Lautau), Southern waters (i.e. East and West Lamma Channels and South Lantau) and the Harbour area (i.e. Victoria Harbour and Junk Bay). The sampling stations are shown in the map below.
