Proposed Legislation for implementing CCAMLR in Hong Kong
For the better protection of Antarctic marine living resources, the government proposes to enact a new piece of legislation to introduce a control scheme for the trading of toothfish and the implementation of the Convention on the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources in Hong Kong. Please refer to the discussion paper for the Legislative Council Panel on Food Safety and Environmental Hygiene Panel for details on the subject.
