Live chicken supply

The number of live chickens available at the Cheung Sha Wan Temporary Wholesale Poultry Market this morning (October 19) is 13,970, with 5,000 imported from the Mainland and 8,970 from local farms. A spokesman for the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department said the average wholesale price was $30.80 per catty.
