Hong Kong has a nature terrain and vast expanse of coastal waters. It hosts an impressive diversity of wildlife in such proximity to the city that is unparalleled in the world. To promote biodiversity and foster a sense of nature appreciation, Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, non-government organisations, tertiary institutions, public and private sectors jointly organised the annual programme “Hong Kong Biodiversity Festival (HKBF) 2017”. Under the theme “Nature Around Us”, HKBF 2017 offered over 100 education activities to get people connected with nature.
The “Nature Around Us” Art Exhibition showcased Hong Kong’s rich biodiversity through the artworks created by local artists. Seminars, workshops and movie screening were organised for you to experience the beauty of biodiversity.
