Subventions for Biodiversity Education

Subvention Scheme for Year 2017

Local non-profit-making organisations could apply for subventions to organise educational programmes that promoted local biodiversity and fostered a sense of appreciation for nature during the period between July and December 2017.

Programme Theme

All approved programmes were relevant to one or more of the following programme themes: (1) citizen science; (2) teacher's capacity building; and (3) urban biodiversity.

Approved Programmes

In 2017, a total of 14 applications were approved under the subvention. The recipient organisations included:
