Description: Caterpillars feed on Pongamia pinnata. Sexual dimorphism. Female has a small subapical spot and two prominent spots in the middle of the forewing. In male, the upperside of forewing is spotless but has a black sex band. The hindwing underside of both sex have a band which reaches the tornal lobe. Both sex in the hindwing posses a prominent tornal lobe which is darkened. Wingspan ranges from 40 to 45mm. They occur from April to June.
