Description: Caterpillars feed on Aristolochia tagala . Wingspan ranges from 95 to 160mm. Sexual dimorphism. Females are generally larger than males and have additional trangle spots in hindwings. The spots in outer margin are shadowed with black scales. Males do not have sub-marginal spots in hindwings but they have a fold at the front edge which contain scent scales. They occur from April to October.
