Uca crassipes is colorful with orange-red major cheliped and walking legs. The carapace is 2-3 cm wide anc can be red, blue and black or red and black. They inhabit in mangrove at high tide mark or close to muddy coast. Some people call it “Watermelon Crab” due to the alternating blue and black stripes on its carapace. |
