Introduction:

Woodside Biodiversity Education Centre situated at Mount Parker Road, Quarry Bay. This 3,386 square metre Centre comprises three themed exhibition galleries introducing Hong Kong's precious natural resources and biodiversity, multi-function conference room, resources centre, activity room and a nature garden. The Centre aims to foster public awareness, knowledge and understanding the inherent value of Hong Kong's biodiversity assets and to marshal public support and action for nature conservation.

Barrier-free Facilities:

This Centre provides the following barrier-free facilities

Barrier-free access
Most of the walkways in the Centre are level, while ramp access is provided where necessary.

Tactile guide paths
Tactile guide paths and Braille signs are provided along the walkway at LG floor of the Centre. The tactile paths guide visually impaired visitors to the lift.

Lift
The lift at the Centre connects all floors. Tactile and braille markings push buttons and voice-announcement device are set inside.

Visual Fire Alert System
Visual Fire Alert System is installed in the Centre.

Accessible Toilet
Accessible toilet is provided at ground floor of the Centre. Clear symbols are posted to show location of the toilet.

How to go :

Travel by public transport to King's Road, Quarry Bay. Walk up along Mount Parker Road beside the Quarry Bay Municipal Services Building for 15 minutes to reach Woodside. Public transport information is as below:
