MARINE PARKS AND MARINE RESERVES REGULATION
(Chapter 476 sub. leg. A)
Prohibition of any person who has a dog or dogs in his possession or custody to enter or remain in the designated area of Hoi Ha WanMarinePark
(Notice made under Sections 16(1) and 16(6))
Notice is hereby given under Section 16(6) of the Marine Parks and Marine Reserves Regulation (Chapter 476A) (“the Regulation”) that, in exercise of the powers under Section 16(1) of the Regulation, the Authority prohibits any person who has a dog or dogs in his possession or custody to enter or remain in the designated area of Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, with effect from 15 July 2008. The designated area is shown on the map in the Schedule hereto and demarcated on site by the high watermark and the red boundary buoys of the “Mechanized Vessels Prohibited Zone” at Tung Fung Shek Beach.
Any person who acts in breach of the prohibition shall be liable on conviction to a fine of HK$ 25,000 and to imprisonment for one year.
