COUNTRY PARKS ORDINANCE (Chapter 208)
(Section 9(1))

                  In accordance with section 8 of the Country Parks Ordinance (Chapter 208) (the Ordinance), the Country and Marine Parks Authority has prepared a draft map (Plan No. CP/RN^A) and its explanatory statement for the proposed Robin’s Nest Country Park.

                  The proposed Robin’s Nest Country Park is located at Sha Tau Kok in the north-eastern part of the New Territories and is bounded to the north by the Lin Ma Hang Road along its southern kerb from the Lin Ma Hang Lead Mine Site of Special Scientific Interest to its eastern end at Sha Tau Kok Town except the area around San Kwai Tin which has been excluded; to the south-east by a mid-hill boundary which runs mostly along existing features and the contour lines ranging from 90m - 180m broadly parallel to Sha Tau Kok Road with an additional narrow strip of woodland near the Sha Tau Kok Police Station; and to the west by the upper section of the unnamed single-lane road above Wo Keng Shan and the natural slopes above Lin Ma Hang and Tong To Shan Tsuen.  The proposed Country Park covers an area of about 530 hectares and it does not include any village environs, permitted burial grounds and private lands.  Its location and boundaries are shown on the draft map.

                  Copies of the draft map and its explanatory statement are available for public inspection free of charge at the following Government Offices for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of publication of this Notice, during their office hours.

                  Any person may obtain a copy of the draft map upon payment at the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, 5th Floor, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon. For the price of the draft map copy, please refer to the following website:

                  Any person aggrieved by the draft map prepared under section 8 of the Ordinance may within the statutory period of sixty (60) days from the date of publication of this Notice send to the Country and Marine Parks Authority and to the Secretary of the Country and Marine Parks Board at the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, 5th Floor, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon, a written statement of his/her objection to the draft map in accordance with section 11 of the Ordinance.  Such written statement shall set out:-

(a) the nature of and reasons for the objection; and

(b) if the objection would be removed by an alteration to the draft map, any alteration proposed.
