Country & Marine Parks Board to meet on Thursday

The following is issued on behalf of the Country and Marine Parks Board:

The Country and Marine Parks Board will meet on Thursday (January 24). Members of the public are welcome to attend as observers.

The Board will discuss a proposal for recreation fishing in Tung Ping Chau Marine Park.

Members will also give their views on guidelines for considering development applications within country parks, and a trial scheme on contraceptive treatment on wild monkeys.

The meeting will be held at Room 701, Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department Headquarters, seventh floor, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon at 2.30 pm.

Those who are interested to observe the meeting should contact the Secretary for the Board on 2150 6697 for seat reservation. Attendance will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
