Liaison group to discuss marine park services

The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) invites the public to take part in a liaison group meeting on March 9 to express their views on the uses and management of marine parks in Hong Kong.

An AFCD spokesman said today (February 23) the coming meeting would be held at 2.30 pm on March 9 at Room 907, ninth floor, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon.

Members of the public who are interested to join the meeting should enroll in advance. They can download the form from AFCD's country and marine parks website (http://parks.afcd.gov.hk), he said.

Copies of the enrollment forms are also available at country park visitor centers in Aberdeen, Sai Kung, Plover Cove, Shing Mun, Clear Water Bay and Tai Mo Shan; the Lions Nature Education Centre; and AFCD's Marine Parks Division, sixth floor, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices.

Completed forms should be returned to AFCD on or before February 28.
