Country & Marine Parks Board to meet on Thursday

The following is issued on behalf of the Country and Marine Parks Board:

The Country and Marine Parks Board will meet on Thursday (June 20). Members of the public are welcome to attend as observers.

The Board will discuss the proposed draft maps of marine parks at Southwest Lantau and Soko Islands.

Members will also give their views on a proposal to designate Lai Chi Wo as a special area.

Also on the agenda are the improvement work to be done at a section of Tung Chung Road between Lung Tseng Tau and Cheung Sha, and the pipeline routing of aviation fuel facility.

The meeting will be held at Room 701, Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department Headquarters, seventh floor, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon at 2.30 pm.

Those who are interested to observe the meeting should contact the Secretary for the Board on 2150 6697 for seat reservation. Attendance will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
