Public invited to discuss marine park services

The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) invites the public to take part in a liaison group meeting on September 28 to give their views on the uses and management of marine parks in Hong Kong.

An AFCD spokesman said today (August 24) that the coming meeting would be held at 2.30 pm on September 28 at Room 907, ninth floor, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon.

Members of the public who are interested to join the meeting should enroll in advance. They can download the form from AFCD's country and marine parks website (http://parks.afcd.gov.hk), the spokesman said.

Copies of the enrollment forms are also available at country park visitor centres in Aberdeen, Sai Kung, Plover Cove, Shing Mun, Clear Water Bay and Tai Mo Shan; a warden post at Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park; the Lions Nature Education Centre; and AFCD headquarters, fifth floor, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices.

Completed forms should be returned to AFCD before September 20.
