Outdoor exhibits of Wetland Park temporarily closed

The garden of Phase 1 of the Hong Kong Wetland Park will be temporarily closed from tomorrow (February 20) due to construction works.

The closure covers outdoor exhibits, dipping ponds and a model of Phase 2 of the Wetland Park, a spokesman for the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department said.

However, the Exhibition Pavilion of Phase 1 will remain open.

"Dynamic displays, audio-visual shows, interactive computer devices, wildlife models and wetland simulations are available for visitors to explore the wetland ecosystems.

"Free guided tours will be provided as usual at regular intervals on Sundays and public holidays," he said.

The Wetland Park is located at Wetland Park Road, Tin Shui Wai, New Territories. It is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Monday and Wednesday to Saturday; 10.30am to 5.30pm on Sunday and public holidays; and closed on Tuesdays. Admission is free.
