Mainland registered farms ready to provide day-old chicks to HK

The production, inspection and quarantine arrangements are now ready in Mainland registered farms to provide day-old chicks for local farms, a spokesman for the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department said today (April 28). End
A total of 11,000 day-old chicks from one Mainland registered farm arrived at five local farms today.
The spokesman said the consignment, covered by health certificates, had gone through the inspection and quarantine procedures agreed between Hong Kong and the Mainland authorities.
