AFCD continues to monitor local pig farms

In response to press reports on the death of two pig farmers, a spokesman for the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department said today (December 28) that the department would continue to liaise closely with local pig farmers and so far there was no unusual increase in the mortality rate of pigs in local farms.

The department will closely monitor the health conditions of local pig population.
