The number of live chickens available at the Cheung Sha Wan Temporary Wholesale Poultry Market this morning (September 24) is 20,350, with 14,800 imported from the Mainland and 5,550 from local farms. A spokesman for the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department said the average wholesale price was $20.5 per catty.
