Vegetable Marketing Organization Loan Fund

The Vegetable Marketing Organization, which was established under the Agricultural Products (Marketing) Ordinance, allocated $200,000 from its trading surplus to set up Vegetable Marketing Organization Loan Fund in 1953.

Loans from this Fund are granted to local crop farmers for agricultural production and development.

During 2010/2011, a total of 29 loans amounting to $1,519,000 were issued.
