A CITES licence issued under the Protection of Endangered
Species of Animals and Plants Ordinance does not in any way exempt
the licencee from the provisions of other legislations. Permits / certificates
may be required under other Ordinances, such as:
- Public Health (Animals and Birds) Ordinance, Cap. 139
- Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ordinance, Cap. 169
- Rabies Ordinance, Cap. 421
- Wild Animals Protection Ordinance, Cap. 170
- Plant (Importation and Pest Control) Ordinance, Cap 207
