How long can they live?

A large horseshoe crab was found in a tank of a seafood restaurant but it wouldn't be kept for long! It was sold for its meat and eggs

Nowadays, no one really knows how long a horseshoe crab can live. A few specimens have been kept in aquarium for more than 15 years and it is believed that a horseshoe crab can live for 18 years, or even longer.
