...大學「香港種子技術及教育中心」合作，為「花腰仔」種子作基因定序。結果顯示「花腰仔」在生長和留種純度方面表現穩定，適合於本地推廣栽種，漁護署遂派發種子予本地農民試種並提供技術支援，以推廣栽種本地優質稻米。梁肇輝博士表示，漁護署希望可透過繼續引入更多新農作物品種，為香港農業締造更多機會，使其得以持續發展。有稻米專家試食後表示「花腰仔」顆粒分明，所以容易沾上醬汁，最適合配香港餸菜。蔬菜統營處（菜統處）現與本地食米供應商合作，為「花腰仔」進行市場推廣。市民可以透過菜統處的「本地魚菜直送」流動應用程式訂購本年早造（七月收割）的「花腰仔」。有關「花腰仔」的銷售可致電菜統處（2387 4164）查詢。 漁農...
