...初生至成年期間, 江豚的體色通常會漸漸變深, 成年江豚的身形會變得較為修長。江豚第一年會急促地成長, 跟著會平緩下來。此研究所得的成長及生殖參數與早期研究其他江豚種群所斷定的相類似。 我們透過分析30個擱淺江豚的胃含量, 研究牠們的捕食習性, 並對牠們利用棲息地方面有所洞悉。在香港水域的江豚捕食最少25種魚類品種﹑6種頭足類品種及1種蝦類。大部份獵物屬近岸﹑底層及中層的品種, 意味著江豚在海中不同的深度包括珊瑚礁及沙底區域覓食。牠們與長居香港水域的駝背豚的獵物類型有一些重疊, 但駝背豚似乎較喜歡捕食常見於河口的魚類品種, 而江豚則會於較開放水域環境覓食。 根據1995年至2000年間在香港擱淺的...
