...交通擠塞或意外，對環境和私人財產造成破壞等。有見及此，本署牛隻管理隊以多管齊下的方式處理流浪牛問題，設法緩減人牛之間的衝突。 為流浪牛進行絶育手術是本署穩定流浪牛數目所採取的其中一項主要措施。按此方針，本署人員會主動捕捉流浪牛，為牠們進行外科程序。已絕育的流浪牛會釘上耳牌，以資識別，待手術傷口癒合後，牠們會被搬遷至捕捉地點附近的郊野公園野放，重過野外生活。上述措施可緩減流浪牛對近郊和市區造成的滋擾。 本署於2022年就本港流浪牛的分布和數目進行了普查。結果顯示，全港約有940頭黃牛和180頭水牛。與2018年的普查比較，黃牛數目減少約40頭，而水牛數目則增加約20頭。 社會上不同持份者對如何處理...
