...為更認識我們的自然資源和加強我們的自然護理工作，漁農自然護理署轄下組成了不同的工作小組，開始定期進行生態調查，以記錄我們的生物多樣性的狀況。 哺乳動物工作小組 淡水魚工作小組 蝴蝶工作小組 蜻蜓工作小組 濕地工作小組 兩棲及爬行動物工作小組 鳥類工作小組 植物工作小組 甲蟲工作小組 這些調查包括香港所有主要的高生態價值的生境。我們會調查不同的生境；記錄重要植物群落的位置、狀況和組成部份；並記錄約1000種動物的分布和數量，這包括鳥類、哺乳類、蝴蝶、蜻蜓、淡水魚類、和兩棲及爬行類。 根據調查所得，我們現正建立一套有系統的生態資料庫，以地理資訊系統(GIS)形式儲存香港生物多樣性的基線資料。當...
