...   地理環境   香港的地形以山巒深谷為主，平地主要集中在沖積平原和沿岸區域。在這片群山起伏的土地上，數以百計的小溪澗於深山丘壑之中奔騰，溪水順山勢而下，越近源頭的高處水流越急，越近平地則越見紓緩。至於又長又彎的河流，本港並不多見，僅有的數條全部位於新界北部和西北部的沖積平原。 本港天然河流溪澗的總長度超過2 500公里，大部分位於鄉郊地區山坡。這些天然河溪很多都是各種野生動植物的理想生境。天然河溪不但具備重要的生態功能，在景觀方面價值亦非常高。 位於鹿頸的山澗      天然河溪是指天然水源從上游流下而形成的天然水道，包括流水終年不斷的常年河溪和只在雨季才有水流的間歇性河溪。河床為天然...
