Agriculture Hall

Agriculture Hall

The Agriculture Hall, one of the five exhibition halls at the Lions Nature Education Centre of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, has been providing a platform for holding exhibitions for students and the public to learn about local agriculture and agriculture-related knowledge. Upon its renovation in 2021, the Agriculture Hall presents the diversity and sustainability of the local agriculture in an interesting yet professional manner through the use of advanced, innovative and diversified exhibitions, exhibits and interactive games, and the illustration given by its two cute mascots "The Farmily" - "Ricey" and "Beany". It is hoped that the public will appreciate traditional agriculture from a new perspective and have a better understanding of the modernisation of the local agricultural industry and the future direction of sustainable agricultural development. Centred on the theme of “Food and Agricultural Education”, the Agriculture Hall aims to integrate agriculture with our daily life and bring a refreshing experience for all. We hope that this will inspire our new generation’s appreciation of local agriculture and arouse their curiosity and imagination with a view to nurturing a new pool of local agricultural professionals.
