Opening Hours:

Exhibition Hall:
Monday, Wednesday to Sunday & Public holidays: 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Reception Counter:
Monday, Wednesday to Sunday & Public holidays: 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays) and the first two days of Chinese New Year

Lawn and Public Toilet: 24 hours (except maintenance period)

The Centre is equipped with water filling station. Feel free to bring along your bottles for the refilling of drinking water.

The Centre is a no smoking area.

Tropical Cyclones and Rainstorm Warnings Arrangement

If Hong Kong Observatory is issued/ going to issue Black Rainstorm Warning, No. 8 or above Tropical Cyclone Signal, the Exhibition Hall and Reception Counter will be closed. If the above signal/warning is still in force after 12:00 noon, the Exhibition Hall and Reception Counter will remain closed for the day.

Introduction:

Hoi Ha Visitor Centre is located within a beautiful woodland in Sai Kung West Country Park. The Centre is adjacent to Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park, which is situated in the northeastern waters of Hong Kong and home to a great variety of marine life.

The Centre comprises an exhibition hall, reception area and public toilet. The exhibition introduces Hong Kong's marine protected areas, precious marine ecological resources and the history of Hoi Ha. The Centre also provides useful information related to Hoi Ha and its surroundings.

The Centre aims at raising public awareness, knowledge and understanding of the function and management of marine parks, and to gather public support and action for marine conservation.

Barrier-free Facilities:

This Centre provides the following barrier-free facilities:

Barrier-free Access

All walkways in the Centre are barrier-free. Access ramp shall be provided when necessary.

Tactile Guide Paths

Tactile guide paths and braille signs are provided along the walkway from the main entrance to the reception counter in the Centre.

Visual Fire Alert System

Visual fire alert system is installed in the Centre to alert people with hearing impairment to a fire.

Accessible Toilet

Accessible toilet is provided at the Centre. Clear symbols are posted to show the location of the toilet.
