"Fish enJoy" Scheme

To promote the diversified development of the industry, AFCD launched the “Fish enJoy” Scheme in September 2025. The Scheme assist mariculture rafts and inland fish farms in providing leisure activities as their ancillary business, so as to enrich the fisheries experience for the locals and tourists, promote local fishery products and increase the income of fish farmers.

Under the Scheme, fish farmers would be permitted by the Director of Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation to provide the following leisure ancillary activities on their rafts: -

• Leisure fishing
• Sales of self-cultured fisheries product
• Sales of dishes mainly with their own fisheries products and non-flame cooking methods; and
• Organising activities related to fisheries education (such as guided tours, culturing and harvesting experiences and workshops).
